Rally Car Racing

I'm a Certified Rally Car driver. (Sep 2014)

Community Volunteer Work

Regularly volunteered with MEDA, Latino Startup Alliance, and Black Girls Code to teach young girls how to code. (2013-2015)

GORUCK Challenge

I took the GORUCK Challenge, a twelve hour team event starting at 9pm Friday night and ending at 9am the next morning. (Sept 2015)

Women's Meetup Rwanda

Cherie Blair Foundation Mentor

Organized a women's professional meetup in downtown Kigali, Rwanda while visiting a friend in the Peace Corps. Special guest speakers included local tech entrepreneur, Akaliza Keza Gara, and Alex Lindsay, founder of Africa Digital Media Academy and a former Lucasfilm graphic designer. (Jan 2014)

Participated in the Cherie Blair Mentoring Women In Business program as a professional mentor, helping my mentee, an incredible business woman who had been running a school in Guatemala for children with special needs for 8 years, think through fund raising and business growth strategies. (Nov 2014-2015)
