MY MISSION IS TO CULTIVATE, SUPPORT & LEARN FROM GLOBAL COMMUNITIES FOR GLOBAL & SCALABLE IMPACT.
My official title is Global Program Manager for the Google Developers UX/UI Experts Program, but I often jokingly tell friends and family I'm an "Apptologist", working to diagnose and solve design challenges for mobile app designers and developers.
I work in my dream job training, promoting, and growing a global community of design experts interested in better understanding product design, user experience research, rapid prototyping, and visual languages such as material design. I primarily work with mobile application startups, developers, and product designers, but am also exploring hardware solutions and designing for new interfaces with IoT.
I am personally and professionally driven by helping teams collaborate creatively and effectively to solve problems using technology.
Originally hailing from the Pacific Northwest, I came to California after a short stint in Tokyo and Denver. I am an avid traveler, a polyglot, a former flamenco dancer, an explorer, and a kid at heart. I love reading non-fiction with a particular affiliation toward books about business, design, and psychology.
